I suspect this will backlash on them big time in urban areas, but I can't speak for the rest of the state.

Nobody should assume that this effort will fail. Look at California. If enough outstate interests decide to pour funding into Minnesota (something the media entities would warmly welcome) they showed in California that they can lie, cheat, and steal their way to bamboozling a majority into voting Yes.Albatrosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18132940770812503362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38764987.post-64627994248229606602011-05-23T07:07:18.764-05:002011-05-23T07:07:18.764-05:00You need a reason? Ohhh, ick!

Nevermind that a whole lot of married folks do the same thing with their spouses (and others, because marriage is so sacred they want to practice it with lots of folks), which has nothing to do with gay or straight sex. And The Church needs converts, so it tries to promote reproduction, but only within their set of guidelines, thus keeping power over the people safely tied up in The Church.

I only hope that by next election the tide will have turned and Minnesota will become the first state to actually defeat such an ammendment at the polls. Start working on the young voters. They're our hope.Heather M. Not only do they want to bind the hands of current courts and legislators, but future judges and legislatures.

I am glad they kept themselves busy with this while they could have been trying to work a deal to balance a budget.

Oh, wait, right...Mike Haubrich, FCDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07220070898785894481noreply@blogger.com
