If you haven't seen Coupling (the British version; there is no American version as far as I'm concerned), you're missing out. It may be the best-written sitcom in the history of television. There's much that's hilarious, but the best bits may well be the explanations.

True true, I've always found it to be the cleverest of the "stupid" sitcoms. As in, a lot of the sitcoms are about stupidity, but here it's done pretty smartly.
Not only was there no American series, but there are those who claim that there was no fourth season, following Jeff's leaving the show.
I think that all four seasons were awesome, but admit that Jeff was a lot more fun to watch than Oliver.

The most hilarious coupling episode is "the girl with two breasts" in my opinion. If you can't find it, let me know, I can send it you.
I have a long and glorious history of introducing people to this show, owning all four seasons and all. No one has ever yet complained about it.
If you have a Netflix account, you can watch all episodes online, by the way, which is nice.
Am I the only person on Earth who can't stand this show? Hmm.
I love this program!!!
Samia, you're definitely not the only person who can't stand this show. Like a lot of comedy, it uses stereotypes as its launching pad. I think the cleverness of what it does from there more than makes up for that, but that's certainly not going to be the case for everyone.
Betül, you've seen 9-1/2 minutes, right? The first episode with Oliver? I think that's not only the funniest Coupling episode, but the funniest sitcom episode ever.
